In 2017, early modeling experiments with a local grove of construction grade bamboo coincided with the discovery of a number of rusted old tools from family generations past. The ensuing 7 years were a flurry of prototyping and test trials. The industry of bamboo has exploded over the past decade, waking the US up to the possible manufacturing uses of the unique and abundant crop. Flooring, cutting boards, and even paper can all be processed from bamboo. But no US company celebrates the natural form and strength of bamboo.... until now.
